This book had me
twisted in knots but at the same time filled with love and hope!
I have no clue
where and how to start this review. This book came at me out of nowhere. I
haven’t even read the books that go before this one in the series! And I never
do that! I’m so anal about rules and this is usually my rule. To never start in
the middle of a series. But here we are.
So let’s start
from the beginning. When I started reading I didn’t know what to expect. I kind
of liked the idea of the summary and thought it would be an easy, fast-paced
love story. Basically I didn’t want anything too serious, some romance, some
steam, but that’s it. And of course it all started kinda cheesy. I was rolling
my eyes more than once, especially when the male hero kept spouting clichés
non-stop.
But then the
miracle happened! The book picked up speed and I just couldn’t stop reading.
This girl, the heroine of this book… Oh my god, it hurts how genuinely sweet
she is and how much she feels! Somehow I could relate to her… And this boy...This
boy… *le sigh* He’s a walking breathing contradiction and you can’t help but
love him. But especially you can’t help but love them together!
Anyway, I’m in
love with this book. It made me feel so much. I don’t want to spoil it for you,
however. I highly recommend this book and I think it can be read as a
stand-alone. Of course it probably is best to read them in succession. But like I said
I understood pretty much everything quite alright.
